My Diabetes Story

During a routine health check on 5th May 2024, I was diagnosed with diabetes for the first time. My HbA1c was 8.7, my fasting blood sugar stood at 165, and I also had high cholesterol levels. With a weight of 90 kg, I was living an unhealthy lifestyle that had taken its toll.

Family history-wise, My Father was a diabetic.

Medications and other checkups followed and out of nowhere, I was detected to have a complex cyst in my left kidney which was followed by a partial nephrectomy done on 20 June 2024. Life (Mental & Physical health) hit a new low when the histology of the cyst removed revealed malignant stage 1 Clear cell Renal Cell Carcinoma. This hit me hard when I decided to take charge of my health in every possible way.

How was FFD introduced and why did I choose to join it?

I first came to know about FFD through a friend. Later, in September 2024, when Dr. Pramod Tripathi visited Dubai, I had the opportunity to attend his awareness session held at India Club, Dubai. That session truly opened my eyes to the possibility of reversing diabetes naturally.

My diabetes and cholesterol medicines stopped in six days which was the best news. My weight loss from 90 kg to 73 kg has been superb. The improvement in my HbA1c from 8.7 to 5.3 and FBS from 165 to 97 shows how much progress I have made. I feel super fit and supercharged.

I ran my first 10k on 27 Feb 2025 and since have run every week. I also did 108 Surya namaskars on 17 March 2025.
